  • The Basement at St. Cassian's

Still shaking from finding her own handwriting dated that night in the priest's notebook, Luna pushes open the basement door at St. Cassian's rectory. The stairwell light reveals a hallway lined with locked doors — and one door standing ajar. Inside, she finds a room that shouldn't exist: a child's bedroom, dust-free, with a single photograph on the nightstand. The girl in the photo has no face. When she turns the photograph over, she finds her own name written on the back. The crucifix on the desk trembles once more as a whisper comes from the basement vent — a voice that sounds like a child. Luna follows the sound to the farthest door, where the whisper says her name clearly. She opens it to find a spiral staircase leading down into darkness, and the air smells like wet earth and something burning. This episode deepens the mystery of the notebook, ties Luna's personal history to the haunting, and ends with her descending the stairs.

  • The Second Entry — St. Cassian's Night

Luna spends her first night at St. Cassian's rectory, alone with the priest's notebook and the sound of something moving in the walls. A new entry appears on the page — words written in her own handwriting. The crucifix on the desk begins to tremble. As the stained-glass window casts strange shadows, she realizes the building remembers every prayer uttered within it, and something is answering them from the basement. A slow-burn episode of creeping dread, whispered theology, and a door she should not open.

  • The First Entry

Luna arrives at St. Cassian's rectory in late October, summoned by a priest who has stopped returning calls. The air smells of damp stone and old incense. She finds the office unlocked, a black notebook open on the desk with a single line of handwriting that does not belong to the priest. Outside, the stained-glass window throws a red square across the floor, and she hears a sound from the sacristy that she cannot place — not footsteps, not breathing, but something between. She is alone in the building. She opens the notebook. The first entry is dated three days from now.

About The Exorcist's Notebook — Fexingo Horror

From the publisher's feed

In a candlelit chapel office, Luna opens a worn black leather notebook — the private journal of Father Aldric, an exorcist who vanished in 1987. Each episode reads an entry from his meticulous records: the patient interviews, the physical signs, the liturgical rites, and the moments when something in the room changed. But the notebook is not merely a historical document. As Luna turns the pages, she begins to notice discrepancies — dates that don't line up, names that appear in later entries before they were introduced, and a recurring line of Latin that translates to 'I am still writing.' The cases start to echo each other, forming a pattern that points not to a demon, but to the exorcist himself. The windows behind her flicker with coloured light as if something passes between the panes. This is a slow descent into the Archive of Unfinished Prayers. Start at Episode 1 and follow the breadcrumbs of a soul that refused to close its own book.
