We are excited to read our first PoV chapter as Nynaeve and we find her nothing short of impressive! We LOVE her pettiness as well as her  confidence and find her a breath of fresh air compared to the rest of the cast and get into some predictions about where her character will go.

We also get our first hint at something or someone called The Foresaken and do a little bit of speculating about what that might mean.

The party are split and we get our first look at a different PoV as Perrin considers his options, Rand gets his first opportunity at leadership and fails immediately. Andrew is not impressed with the Dark Ones implementation of moral and discipline within his army.

We dive into chapter 15, Strangers and Friends. In this episode we discuss Rands inability to keep his mouth shut and his strange decision to trust the most obviously untrustworthy people. Should the boys trust Moiraine with their secrets or Thom?

Mat has a Classic Mat moment and forces Rand into a strange encounter with some Jehovah's Witnesses.

We dive into chapter 14, The Stag and Lion. In this episode we discuss Mats inability to keep his mouth shut and take a hint, the groups attitudes towards public nakedness and their random sleeping organization. We settle on our 'head voices' going forward so we can better bring the characters to life during our discussions.

Next we focus on Rands dreams of the Dark One, our interpretation of the meanings behind their discussions and find humour in the Dark Ones attempts to scare Rand with 'freaky dream shit.'

We dive into chapters 12 and 13, Across the Taren and Choices. We delve deeply into Rands current mental state as he struggles with his choice to leave the Two Rivers with Moiraine and how this journey seems to be putting him on different paths to Egwene. How this stressful situation is manifesting and question his actions and words towards Egwene.  

Andrew is introduced to the concept of Ajah and gets some insight into the Red Ajah, we also discuss the elemental aspects of the One Power.

We dive into chapters 10 and 11, Leave Taking and The Road to Taren Ferry. The party set out on their journey to Tar Valon and a couple of  surprising new members come along for the ride. Andrew gives his opinions on the Wheel and Pattern as a literary device and Aled is not happy about it.  

We spend a while discussing the relationships and interplay between Rand, Mat, Perrin and Egwene, the isolationism apparent in their world  views and Andrew speculates on Moiraines magic and it's uses and drawbacks.  

Finally we get our first proper meeting with best girl Bela.
