Why don't they make movies like Gone With the Wind any more? And by that, I mean movies with intermissions. Is it because we can't smoke indoors? A nice cigarette or ten between scenes sounds like an old-timey way to make a four hour movie feel less like a chore. These days, though, it's all about vaping THC. Then you forget what happened in the first half, you can't understand the second half, and your whole afternoon was wasted. So maybe intermissions aren't such a good idea after all.
