The Fantasy Joes

After two full weeks of the NFL season (plus a game featuring Gardner Minshew’s first NFL career victory to lead off Week Three), the Joes remain in awe of the craziness that is Fantasy Football in 2019. What do we do with the unlikely WR1s of the 2019 season (John Ross, Marquise Brown, Emmanuel Sanders, D.J. Chark) heading into Week Three? Is Austin Ekeler an instant sell for a 2020 1st or a guy you have to try to ride to a first round playoff bye? How are we valuing QBs like Mason Rudolph, Gardner Minshew, and Jameis Winston in our Superflex leagues after the QB carnage we experienced in Week Two? Is Mark Andrews a sell right now? All this, and one very sad announcement, on this episode of the Fantasy Joes.

The Joes get together and discuss what was a very wild and crazy Week 1 of the 2019 NFL season! How should we be reacting in the context of dynasty to performances of guys like Hollywood Brown (did you see this coming!?) who blew up and guys like Curtis Samuel (the preseason darling of so many) that didn’t? Would it be crazy to trade Evan Engram for TJ Hockenson? Corey Davis for John Ross? Which Joe thinks you should at least consider these deals? All this (and so much more), plus Ryan, Trey, and Will give their Hot, Bold, and Spicy Takes for Week 2, on this episode of the Fantasy Joes!

It’s the 100th episode of the Fantasy Joes! On this episode, Ryan surprises Trey and Will with a very special message from a former NFL football player, one that Trey has a special connection with that you’ll hear about near the end of the show. Also, this episode features “Trey and Will’s Excellent Draft Adventure”. The Joes get into their thought process and the draft strategy utilized during a recent FFPC dynasty draft for a team Trey and Will are co-owning. Which player or players that saw their 2019 seasons end due to either injury or retirement might have Trey and Will drafted? When the two Joes wait on taking running backs, how does that impact the final construction of their team? All this, plus a few more surprises, including a closing message from Chase Edmonds of the Arizona Cardinals, on this special 100th episode of the Fantasy Joes!
