    Today after weeks of digesting the movie on many watches. I wanted to speak on the theories around why Spider-Man Across the Spiderverse has brought such a cultural shift that it almost begins the debate that if a character is done so well in an animated setting why is there a need to create a live action adaptation. If DC animation had released any of their popular films to theaters would it have garnered the same reaction because when done correctly it can ruin your perception of how they are created in live action. Miles Morales and his incarnation of Spider-man does exactly that for the next generation of movie goers.

    Today I speak with Travis B. Hill and Sheldon to speak about the Vigilante tale for Advent Comics aptly titled Thorn. Thorn describes a young man named Alton Eldridge and the town of Rosebush Heights. Alton loves his neighborhood and his people, but understands the injustice from local government and the police has latched a chokehold on his town thru Gentrification and lack of care for the people who've made it a home. Travis and Sheldon go into detail about the construction of the character and Travis' own upbringing plays a huge part in the story.

This issue combines humor, sci-fi, coming of age novelties, and everything that made you fall in love with the superhero genre. And, leaves us with a cliffhanger that makes you grasp for more.

After his earlier issues on Earth, we finally see him reaching new heights traveling the galaxy. We also talk about the trajectory of his company Konkret Comics, and his new of distribution through Diamond Distributors and what a company like his shows in comparison to Milestone Comics who laid out a Blueprint.
