Today I sit with one of our favorite guests Chris Moses to speak about his Sci-Fi Epic The Saturn Effect. After the first 4 issues of Volume 1 we return to siblings Alpha and Centauri and their consistent means to garner peace amongst the factions after the Titan Wars. 3 years after the conflict a few new familiar players enter the fray leading to fast paced action in this new saga. The Saturn Effect takes pieces of Star Wars, Gattaca, and Demolition Man and leads a more mature spin to it.

Today I sit with one of our favorite guests Anthony Stokes talking about the conclusion to his hit series Decay with drops for issues 4 and 5. I gotta admit when I first started reading this series because initially it was described as a Horror Comic and by the middle of the series you get so caught up in the issues you totally forget. Now with the series reaching its end for DK, Jess, and Tre-it's the unexpected ending that brings you back to the violent way it began.

Often times in the community of indie comics we all look for our projects to be adapted but seldomly we find creators getting right back into their entrepreneurial bag and form a team to bring that project to life. Today I sit with Onaji Rouse creator of Odina for Konkret Comics who is now developing Odina into live action form in the new series Drafted Origins live on Go Fund Me. We also talk about the comic scene in Atlanta, screenwriting, as well as being apart of one of the top black publishing indie teams in the game with Konkret comics.

This week I sit with Wells Thompson and Dalton Shannon Co-writers of the Kaiju driven tale Mechaton. When an Alien Technological powered Glove strikes Earth, a young slacker named Derek upon discovering it finds that he can turn anything and I mean ANYTHING into a fully piloted Mech with just a punch. Now in the latter issues in the current story we find Derek and his sister Leah being challenged by Authoritarians, Fascists, and the Military as to why all that power lies in the hands of a young man who just wants to play video games all day.

Todays Episode I sit with Sean Murphy and Kelly La Croix, Co-writers in the tale Everyday Magus. A genre bending comic focusing on The Great Resignation meets the afterlife as the protagonist Chalk who has come into an Eternity of Indentured Servitude after death must do what he can to see his daughter one last time. But First, he has to get fired....

Today I talk about the amount of Quantity over Quality lately within the ranks of the MCU and the former DCEU and the acts of business that is now pumping the brakes on the amount of content seen by the viewer until it is absolutely right.

Today I sit with Corey Marshall Founder of Umiverse Comics to speak about his Four part Vignette series called A Madman's Tale which includes books that are reminiscent of a feel you may have gotten watching Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Twilight Zone, or Creepshow in how they take modern day current events and manage to twist them into realms of Sci Fi and Horror. Also, we discover how it feels as a creator to skip a step beyond crowdfunding and open a webstore for your comics first as a means to gauge the buyers market.

Today I take a step back and speak on the current adaptations we have seen either announced in the style of Comic Book Movies and TV shows from Marvel and DC, but more so how subsequent publishers like Image, Boom, TKO presents, and even some indie titles are now catching the eye of major studios because of a great story and not generational character development and fandom.

Today I sit with Anthony Stokes to talk about his latest dive into Psychological horror in his newest book Intrusive Thoughts. We discuss how the utilization of the main character Tyler and the torment he has faced all his life give a physical manifestation of paralysis demon due to the night terrors he has had since he was young. The book is a tale of how bullying and social anxiety can change you mentally. A great book to have.

Today I sit with Jordan Alasaqa and Randy Stone Co writers for the Silver Age Comic Inspired Bullet Adventures. The Newest Kickstarter dives into Issues 1-3 revolving around Dale Desousa a former Speedster Superhero from the 1950's that after a time travel incident bringing him back to the past. He finds that his persona as Bullet has more than impacted his family generationally with his Granddaughter Elaine Choi.
