Hello again witches, seekers, and friends and thanks for tuning in to The Fat Feminist Witch Podcast on this Autumn Equinox weekend.
Today I'm joined by Courtney Weber to discuss her new book Sacred Tears and how grief can impact and be impacted by our spiritual practice.
Content warning: the book, and parts of this episode, mention pregnancy loss and fertility in all of its forms.
If you liked this discussion with Courtney check out That Witch Life podcast and the So Mote That Con virtual conference in October where she'll be leading a workshop about Hekate and healing. The 2-day conference is packed with interesting guest speakers and workshops, and if you get your tickets before September 30th you'll save a ittle bit of cash with the early bird pricing. Hello again my witches, seekers, and friends and thank you so much for tuning in!
Today's episode features Andrew L. Erdman, the author of Beautiful: The Story of Julian Eltinge, America's Greatest Female Impersonator! Andy's here to talk to use about Drag, Vaudeville, and how the different ways we play with gender have changed over the last century! This is not an episode about practical witchcraft, but of course magic is everywhere, so I also talk about glamour magic, and how drag is probably one of the most power glamour spells of all! Drag queen? Drag GODDESS!

Hello again my witchy friends, and thanks for tuning in to today's episode of The Fat Feminist Witch!
Today’s episode is a little different, because it’s actually the first episode of a new show I’ve created called The Hedonic Tone, all about the goddess Voluptas, hedonism, and magical pleasure.
This is a show with lisenced music, which is exclusive to Spotify, so while the episode shared here is music free for all to enjoy, you can find the full episode at HERE!

Thank you so much everyone for joining me today on the Fat Feminist Witch Podcast. This week I have a really exciting DOUBLE FEATURE! I had a privilege to interview two of the stars of the new documentary about modern witches COVEN, which premiered last month on CBC.
In this episode I'm talking with Laura Hokstad, a tarot reader and witch who is searching for a way to connect with others, and herself, through witchcraft. She visits some local covens and priestesses, each who have their own ways of bringing other witches together, and then she leaves Canada to explore ancestors in her past who are part of some of the biggest events in the history of witch trials.
There is a transcription available for this episode, which you can download at the following link:

Happy Halloween my witchy friends!
In this year's halloween special I'm talking about real and fictional books bound in human skin, and the origins of grimoires and other historical spell books.
Megan Rosenbloom, the author of Dark Archives, is also a death-positive activist and one of the founders of the Order of the Good Death, which seeks to make death a little easier on those of us who will have to face it some day. They have a ton of resources and books on death around the world, in different cultures, and throughout history. https://www.orderofthegooddeath.com/ If you want to learn more about the anthropodermic books covered in Dark Archives visit https://anthropodermicbooks.org. Finally, I highly recommend reading Dark Archives, which you can get from Amazon.ca or Amazon.com!
