“Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.” Today we celebrate the Feast of St. Catherine of Siena.  A Doctor of the Church and the Patron of Italy & Europe. "Proclaim the truth and do not be silent through fear." Pray and stay safe.

The mercy of God is infinite. We have to trust that Almighty God works in his way and we have to have faith that all things work for the best. But that means trust. Trust in our God who loves us and died for us.

Most Catholic Churches in America are currently closed. Catholics are forced to worship via a live stream on their computers, or on TV, in an area where the family can pray. I worry some parishioners will get too comfortable with this new practice.

A lot of people are questioning their Christian faith due to the COVID-19 Corona Virus pandemic. Others are rediscovering their faith. Is this God's way of sending us a 'wake-up-call'?

This global crisis connects all people around the world. Whenever something such as this happens, I hope to respond to it with humanity to all. I am surrounded by books. I am surrounded by love. The trees have already started to bloom. Looking forward and being positive is the best contribution I can make. God Bless You All.

Two months of quarantine is testing our patience. Patience is defined as the ability to endure difficult circumstances especially when faced with longer-term difficulties. Patience is the level of endurance one can have before negativity. That’s where our belief if God and prayer come in.

How can we still mark Holy Week with faith and devotion during such a troubling and difficult time? That’s a question I never thought I’d be asked. Here’s a few thoughts & suggestions.

Easter is upon us. We currently are prevented from receiving the Eucharist at Mass. In these cases, the Church encourages us to make an act of “spiritual communion,” where we unite ourselves to God through prayer. I'm praying for all of you. Trust in God.

It’s now clear that most of us will essentially shelter in place for a couple of months. I say Mass in my den every day. Gather your family for prayer in an area in your home and designate it your prayer space. Especially on Sunday. Peace be with you.

We're living in times we've never witnessed before. The news is difficult to watch. Our families are asking us questions we can't answer and we're all praying for a quick solution. Trust in God and remember this will end. I'm praying for you all.
