In Luke 6 Jesus asks the people why they call Him Lord, then neglect to obey Him. We know we are a supernatural people with a supernatural Lord, yet we often struggle to actually obey God. When you encounter Jesus, however, His Spirit urges you to change. When you really know Him, you know who He has created you to become. Would Jesus say that He knows you?

Every human on this planet is in a war, and we have assignments against us. Satan is desperate to destroy children, and to destroy anything that we produce, but we are to respond. It is the blood of the Lamb and the word of testimony that overcomes the enemy, and we worship a God who is more powerful than any darkness that comes against us and our families.

Deuteronomy speaks of how an eagle stirs its nest, and Job speaks of how an eagle knows how to soar and build nests. Eagle's nests are incredible structures, and take a great deal of preparation and dedication. We are called to soar on wings like eagles, and there are a great many spiritual principles we can learn from the lives of these extraordinary birds. Come to Jesus and let him give you eagle's faith, not chook faith!

How we see with our spiritual eyes affects what we will do in the natural. Our minds have to agree with God's plan for our life, and He says that nothing is impossible. We make our thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ. If you're living below where you know God would have you, then start seeing as He sees!

God showed Ezekiel a river whose water level was rising, until Ezekiel couldn’t cross it without being fully submerged. This river brought life everywhere that it went, and it is this River of Life which flows in us. Jesus speaks of this river in John 7, and it is mentioned again in Revelation 22. We are to flow with the river of life, bringing life wherever we go, as Jesus did - the one who provides water that will never run dry. It is to bring healing to the nations. Start bringing restoration to the world by letting the river of life flow in you!

We cry out for revival for today's church and our society, but revival starts with each one of us individually. Charles Finney said "revival is nothing else than a new beginning of obedience to God". Each one of us plays a vital role in the body of Christ, and so in reviving the body, He revives each one of us. As He brings revival fire to each of our lives, we witness His love, power and glory covering the earth as the waters cover the sea.

The Bible says that the tabernacle of God is with people. God lives in you, and you host the God who made all things. We are called to build a house for the Lord with our lives, to let him into every part of the house, and to walk in the confidence of knowing He is always with us.

Talking to yourself isn't an abnormal thing - David talks to himself continually throughout the Psalms. Our self-talk, however, must be in line with what God thinks about us, and with what God thinks about the world. Regardless of what you feel, it is Biblical to ask yourself, "why are you so downcast, oh my soul?", and to remind yourself "bless the Lord, oh my soul". Let God in to renew your mind, and begin to talk to yourself in a way that will glorify God and lead you to a fuller life
