There’s a paradox in God’s kingdom. We remember God’s mighty deeds, but then we forget the former and look to the new in store for us. It’s just God’s way—to make all things new (Is 43).

We remembered God’s goodness as we read letters of gratitude from a variety of speakers, touching on the Seevincks’ local, kingdom, and generational impact. May we be encouraged to be letters of recommendation “recognized and read by everybody” (2 Cor. 3:3).

With The Fellowship’s history as a backdrop, Sharon tells stories and remembers the many ways in which God is mighty and good. She shares with us the power of Deliverance Ministry, The Prophetic, Women in Leadership and the prosperity of the church.

Continuing with the theme of Remembering, Cana shares about remembering who you are. By looking at the stories of Elijah, we learn that God has placed us, equipped us, and will always be with us.

As our series on Genesis comes to a close, Sarah Rudd takes us on a journey throughout history to remember how the Abrahamic promise continues. “Generation after generation will declare more of your greatness and declare more of your glory” (Ps 145).

Like those in Genesis, our lives begin in the middle of a timeless love affair between the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Created for freedom, and relentlessly pursued by each, we also discover that like our Genesis ancestors, we too are prone to turn away into the shadows of lesser experiences. Still, God walks in step with us, to interject His Presence, life and vision.

God works in many creative ways. Ben and Rachel report on what God has been doing around the world through World Outreach. Ben then reminds us of the good that came out of Joseph’s life, even when things did not seem so good. Joseph is a wonderful example of how circumstances that may seem random and even painful can still be part of God's ultimate plan for our lives.

Throughout our study of Genesis, we’ve focused a lot on the stories of the patriarchs. What about the women in these families? Their inheritance, their courage, and their roles are equally important. Sarah Rudd tells the gritty, hard, and redemptive story of Tamar reminding us that God sees and remembers all of us.

Aaron Rudd shares with us the challenges Jacob faced while standing on God's promise of inheritance. Jacob teaches us that even though we face trials or spend years waiting on a promise, God will fulfill his word.
