"He said, 'I need you and I want you to just bring forth that ministry out into the world that really needs you the most.'" With those words from the Lord, Jazmin De Guzman was sent out with a mission. Through her work and art, she wanted to inspire others around her to aspire for greatness. Jazmin took her experience in ministry and her love for art and turned it into Made For Greater, a brand with a vision to let others know that they too are made for greatness. In this episode, we talk to Jazmin about her time serving in various church ministries, the inspiration behind Made for Greater, and how she’s encouraging other creatives to make beautiful art to advance the kingdom of God.

When Sr. Mary Sabina, OP, first encountered religious sisters, she turned and ran the other way! But little did she know that this would be the first of many encounters with sisters that would eventually lead her to join the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia. As part of this teaching order, Sr. Mary Sabina lives with three other Dominican sisters in the Archdiocese of Vancouver, where they teach at different Catholic schools. She also leads a women's discernment group and journeys with young women as they discern their vocation. In this episode, we talk to Sr. Mary Sabina about her discernment and vocation story, what it’s like to accompany other women in their discernment, and the beauty she’s found in spiritual motherhood.

Her goal with this new platform is to help other young Catholic women like herself working in the secular world. Jane wants to inspire other women to bring their whole selves to their workplaces and allow God to set them ablaze wherever they may be. Once Jenna Violi joined a bible study group and she started to delve into scripture, her life was changed. Even more, the way that she viewed the mass changed and she started to really engage with what she was hearing. Now, Jenna brings this same love of the Gospel and relationship with Jesus to her high school students as a theology teacher as well as to the mass as a music minister and cantor. After reconnecting through a class and serving in ministry together, Emi and Maggie decided to take their ministry callings one step further to create Immaculatte, which serves as a ministry for young women of all stages of life who live in the Lower Mainland (or Vancouver, for all the out of towners listening!). Every month, women gather together in a coffee shop to meet, talk, and pray together. In this episode, we talk about how Emi and Maggie came to meet each other, the story behind Immaculatte, and the importance of sisterhood in a woman's life.
