Matt calls up Joe "Diesel" Riggs, an MMA vet, and professional competitor since 2001, Riggs formerly competed for the UFC, WEC, Strikeforce, Bellator, ProElite & King of the Cage. 

Riggs will be competing at the Submission Rise 2 event on 10/15 in NY against Pete "Drago" Sell.  He talks about his training, his upcoming fight for M1 Global on 10/27. Riggs also opens up about his tough time in the UFC, his consideration of retirement, signing with Bellator, how his parent's divorce helped him find combat sports, and what he's learned about being an MMA fighter for 16 years.

Riggs shares his shortcomings, the tough aspects of being a fighter, and more insight of what it's like being Joe "Diesel" Riggs that you may not expect.

Matt is joined in studio by former call in guest, Liam McGeary! Last time TFC spoke with McGeary, he was fighting in Ireland. He is now back in NY, and preparing for his upcoming fight at Bellator 185 at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. 

Liam talks about his motivation for this fight against King Mo on October 20.  He explains his recent loss against Linton Vassell, and what he's been working on to get the W on 10/20.  Matt & Liam discuss their NY buddies' fights including Dave Branch's.

Matt talks to Kyle Antonelli for Fight News first up.  New father Kyle talks about UFC Fight Night 116 in Pittsburg, PA this Saturday and the 3 NY fighters that are fighting on the main card.  He then talks about the latest update with Jon Jones' PED use.  Kyle announces Randy Brown's next UFC fight against an up and comer, and comments on this past UFC's ref calls being too late.

Matt calls up Lou Neglia to talk about Ring of Combat 60 that he's putting on Friday in Atlantic City. He explains fighters that had their start in ROC, as well as which fights on the card to look out for.

Zu Anyanwu, guest from Ep 28, fights on the main card of UFC Fight Night 116: Branch VS Rockhold. This is a last minute fight for him, so he talks about that and it being his first UFC fight.  He comments on the other fighters on the card that he sees in Pittsburgh now days before the fights.

Matt Culley & Fight Shape Tony Ricci talk about Performance Enhancing Drugs and the latest scandal with Jon Jones.  Tony explains how they could affect his performance versus DC, and what his personal opinion is if Jones really did use.  Matt brings up facts surrounding the possibility of his innocence.

Then, they talk about McGregor's endurance, what's next for McGregor, and their thoughts on the fight against Floyd Mayweather.

Matt, Sergio, and Producer Kristen talk about Mayweather VS McGregor- the ref, the outcome, the views, and what's next. Then James Gonzalez comes in to talk about his upcoming fight on 9/15/17. Adam Kownacki, 16-0, 13KOs, ranked #10 Heavyweight on BoxRec, comes into studio.  He gives the boxing perspective on #MayMac and talks about his sparring sessions with MMA fighters like Gian Villante.  Adam talks about getting into fight sports, injuries, and the many gyms he's trained at in the tristate area.  He tells us about his many training partners including Wladimir Klitschko, Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller, & Cam Awesome form the boxing Netflix documentary: Counter Punch. Matt asks Adam The Fight Cave 5, and Adam gives some good advice to new fighters.

Matt & Sergio recap UFC Fight Night: Mexico City and their summer favorite: Tuesday night Contender Series.  Andre "The Bull" Harrison comes into studio to talk about his past win on 7/28 at PFL as the main event and what's next for him.  Dre talks about fellow top featherweights, his Bellmore Kickboxing Team, and how he's gotten out of some close calls in fights. They chat about McGregor VS Mayweather, which Dre renames "a charity event".

Fight News with Kyle talks about the Paulie Malignaggi and Conor McGregor fall out.  He then discusses the health and possible retirement of Ian McCall.
