While a day late we do have a new episode this week. Only one new relase this week- GET HARD staring Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart- but we don't let that slow us down. Adam finaly got around to watching Unreakable Kimmie Schmidt and Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief and Matt talks about this trip to the Great White North. Plus the boys look at an article from The Dissolve talking about Blu-rays and the diminshing physical video market.
Matt is back and joins Adam with week to review three, yes THREE, new releases. First up is the THE GUNMAN staring Sean Penn- then we jump into the young adult lit fare, INSURGENT and we wrap everything up with WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS- a New Zealand vampire comedy- I know you’ve seen SO many of those and it’s cliche by now, but go with it.
This week Adam rolls solo while Matt is out on the Breaking Bad Experience. This week Adam takes a look at RUN ALL NIGHT staring Liam Neeson.
This week Adam and Matt dive back into two new release reviews. First up is the movie that made NO splash at the box office this week- UNFINISHED BUSINESS- was this movie worth it's lack luster performance? Speaking of performance- while number 1 at the box office, Neil Blomkamp's CHAPPIE was not well received by critics and Adam and Matt see things a little differently.
Also the boys talk Star Trek The Next Generation, House of Cards and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt...and Unbreakable....and other M. Knight movies.
This week Adam and Matt review two new releases- THE LAZARUS EFFECT staring Olivia Wilde and Mark Duplass as well as Will Smith and Margot Robbie in FOCUS.
This week a "fan film" like no other was dropped on us. Joesph Kahn directed an unassociated, unoffical Power Rangers reimained into a gritty, dark world. Guest Justin Mullis joins Adam to talk about this very polerizing short staring big names like James VanDerbeak and Katee Sackoff. Is this the Power Rangers we never knew we wanted or a slap in the face of a beloved childrens program?
This week Adam and Matt are back to talk about THE KINGSMAN, HOT TUB TIME MACHINE 2 and all about The Oscars- the good the bad and the WFF.
This week Adam and Matt venture out of the norm and review 50 SHADES OF GREY. Is this the hot and steamy movie the public has been waiting for or just a global phenomenon that we just don't understand? Sexy or silly? We find out.
February slogs on as Adam and Matt return this week to review two films that were delayed several times. First up the boys talk about SEVENTH SON and Adam says something about Jeff Bridges that will cause some listeners to become upset. Our second new release review is from The Wachowski's- JUPITER ASCENDING. Was it worth the wait or just a giant mess?
The last of the January movies are here and Adam and Matt wrap up a less than amazing first month of 2015 with two more films that....may be more of the same...or will they? So the boys review Project Almanac and The Loft This episode doesn't turn out like you'd think. Also- Adam takes the Blackhat challenge, sees The Boy Next Door while Matt checks out Killers, You Must Be Joking and Black Sea.
