The Film Flamers: A Horror Movie Podcast

We're kicking off the month of March with our usual Shooting the Flames episode, where we respond to all of your comments and questions, along with bringing you the latest in horror news and trailers. We're also discussing some of the movies and TV shows we've watched over the past month, hopefully taking a little bit of the guesswork out of your busy lives. Have something to say about the news, trailers, or our recent watches we mentioned in this episode? Let us know!

Join us for this very special episode in which we discuss the 1992 classic romantic thriller The Bodyguard, starring Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston. What was that you just said? This isn't a horror movie? Well, listen to this episode and you'll hear our arguments for how this film is rife with horror adjacency. We've got exploding dolls, stalkers, break-ins, chase sequences and even a scary cabin in the woods! So buckle up, listen up, and sing along with us. After all, listeners... we will always love you.

Listeners, you are cordially invited to our totally non-culty, completely non-creepy dinner party where we will deep dive into Karyn Kusama's criminally under-watched horror thriller film, The Invitation. The film stars Logan Marshall-Green, Tammy Blanchard, Michiel Huisman, and John Carroll Lynch. If you haven't seen this one yet, consider doing so before listening, as this episode may spoil your appetite at the party... and we wouldn't want that. So once you're ready, grab a glass of wine and settle in - cause this one's not to be missed!
