There's no one like you, I cant wait for the nights with you, I imagine all the things you would do when watching 2014 allegorical melodrama Snowpiercer. Tonight we discuss moving woes, bad internet, death and what powers capitalism. It is a fun time.
Well ya know I need some love like I've never needed love before (wanna make love to ya' baby) and tonight is the night when 2 become 1 movie staring Deadpool and some Australian dude. This is a bonus episode, Happy New Year! We Didnt Die! Ya know I once saw a werewolf drinkin' a pina colada in Trader Vic's his hair was perfect and before he made a meal of out of me we had a tremendous conversation about what makes a bad movie good. Honestly a very considerable werewolf all things considered. In celebration of our 20th episode--and in need of a break while moving,--we take a step back from the wasteland and enjoy a nice discussion about what we think makes a movie so bad it is good-- in other words we define our terms. And we look at two lists made about this topic by others--- of course in the spirt of the holidays we harshly judge other peoples opinions as only we can. First "article" we discuss tonight: https://www.buzzfeed.com/briangalindo/bad-movies-people-enjoy-watchingSecond article we discuss tonight: https://www.timeout.com/film/the-best-bad-movies-ever-madeLink to my Video from 2 years ago about hidden gem so bad they are good movies: https://youtu.be/yMU1GFxoQT0?si=Zk1u3m50TX7P0wiO
Mom and Dad went to a show dropped me off with grandpa Joe who made me watch 1995 box office bust Waterworld. This was a lost episode recorded back in late August in what was supposed to be the original 2nd episode featuring my wife. Join along as we switch up the format a bit tonight as we do our first watch along--Rifftracks style-- with Waterworld. We watch the movie, talk about how much Kevin Costner reminds us of our dads, the background of this film, why we both kinda like this movie—yet acknowledge the obvious problems, and our history watching this movie.
This is a little bonus episode that was on Youtube only until today! Give it a listen and look up some of these movies, especially if you love good-bad movies.
All my exes live in Texas which I why I lay my hat in 1980s Italy and the "fine" work of Joe D'Amto which is a fake name and that's a trend with this post-apocalypse "Texas" themed take on Mad Max. Not gonna lie this movie has a lot of trigger warnings and we start the episode with that warning before giving a few others as well. Come along as we talk about the downfall of Italian Cinema, confuse our multiverse timelines, remises about Monstervision, and kind of shit on this movie that we didn't really like at all. It is a fun time.

Ya know just like the kids I've been navigating my way through the mind-numbing reality of a godless existence which, at this point in my hollow and vapid life seems okay considering I am smoking a bowl with Tank Girl this week! This week on the show we talk about 1995's comic book masterpiece Tank Girl. We deep dive into the production nightmare this film became, talk about our favorite Lori Petty movies, discuss how we first became the punk rock fans we are now, and eventually find our way to talking about the movie itself.
I'm the one who wants to be with you, Deep inside I hope you'll feel it too...this week we want to be with you during the end times---and what an end we have found our selves in. But from every end comes a new beginning and this week we begin by looking at 1992's Neon City with host of Monster Movie Fun Time Go host Precious D. Listen along as we talk 2024 politics, our disastrous knowledge of basic Canadian geography, the Highlander films, and who taught Nixx Sixx how to freebase. It is a fun time!. Days do in fact go by friends and we have found our selves asking-- WELL HOW DID WE GET HERE? This is an odd week for a lot of reason and so we get into odd things like what would Henry Rollins approve of, the sad news of our days, tales of light subterfuge, the Neo-Nazi agenda involving rollerblades, Point Break comparisons, and stupid Pokémon names. It is a fun time. RIP Dolly Barkton
