When Jesus spoke of his coming judgment, he said it would be like that in the days of Noah. People would be eating, drinking, and getting married, not realizing judgment was around the corner.
It’s interesting that Jesus compares his coming judgment to one that happened in the past. Now, many Christians say Noah’s flood was just a local flood. But what does this say about the coming judgment? Is Jesus going to come and just judge some people living in a certain area? Of course not! The Bible is clear that everyone will be judged.
Just like the past judgment on Noah’s evil world was global, so is Jesus’ coming judgment.
