This year Davey Rohrbacher and I create a mental skills program for an 8th grade basketball team. This program incorporated group zoom calls, individual zoom calls, and much of our dialogue with the kids centered around how to use their minds in healthy ways to improve performance. We talked to the kids about gratitude, breathing, leadership, communication, confidence, and much more. On this podcast we discuss our learning from this program. I hope you enjoy!

Joining me today is positive psychologist and former professional basketball player Jordan Hamilton. This episode is extremely special to me. This conversation was recorded about 2 years ago before my final year of collegiate basketball, where I was really trying to evolve on and off the court. Jordan assisted me tremendously by sharing his journey in hoops and offering support in many areas that I was struggling with internally within the game. I feel this conversation is authentic and open about the struggles that potentially many athletes face.
