Rory and Phil cover another 2 clubs from Finland and Sweden.

FinnPa soared through the leagues (with the backing of a major airliner) to make it to the top tier of Finnish football, even making an appearance in the UEFA Cup. But a season later, they were gone.

Karlstad BK existed as a club for a hundred years or so, but never really reached the heights their fans would have hoped. They merged with another club, Carlstad United, and today exist as IF Karlstad Fotboll, with Sven-Göran Eriksson as their sporting director.

Rory and Phil head to Brazil and China for the first time.

Barra Futebol Clube is an example of how the Brazilian football pyramid can be a detriment to lower league clubs and is probably the closest thing to a forgotten football club we've come across so far.

Jiangsu Suning are sometimes difficult to follow, owing to their many name changes. They won the Chinese Super League in 2020, only to go bust immediately afterwards.

Phil and Rory take a break from our main series and are re-joined by League of Ireland historian Karl Reilly.

We take a wider look at lost clubs from the League of Ireland and discuss the context behind why they folded or dropped out of senior football. Among them are Kildare County, Monaghan United, Salthill Devon, and Mervue, along with the plethora of clubs from Dublin who have came and went in senior Irish football.

Rory and Phil are joined by Sunderland Women's commentator Charlotte Patterson to discuss perhaps the most famous Women's football team in history - Dick, Kerr Ladies.

Dick, Kerr Ladies were ultimately a works' team, but built a legacy by defying the ban on Women's football in England, much like their Scottish and Welsh counterparts. In many ways, they laid the foundation for Women to be able to play football today.

Fulham fans may remember Amkar Perm from their run to the 2010 Europa League final. There's a lot of conjecture over why Amkar Perm eventually folded. Alex was born in Perm but has lived most of his life in Dundalk. He still follows his hometown club as they have since re-established.
