June 07, 2022 It Has To Be Perfect and Other Myths
"Where you been?!", I hear you say. It's been awhile. I just wasn't feelin' it. Felt pressure. Uninspired so I took a break. And what I learned was, life doesn't have to be perfect. "It" can be messy, no matter what that looks like: life, relationships, friendships, health, circumstances around us and we can still show up and do the work!
For me, I got distracted. Fell out of cadence. Stuff happened in my personal life that made it harder to be the fun, vivacious person I know I am and I got stuck. But I'm back! So I talk about standards in dating people, my hobby of upcycling furniture, my upcoming trip back to my homeland and how it's good to know what you like and don't like in this world. And don't be afraid to speak up and use your voice! Consistency to show up is key. It's an episode and that's all that I needed right now - to take messy action. Enjoy the listen!

When Suki got into her dream job in advertising, having graduated with a science degree, it was the classic, it looks good on paper life. But it didn’t resonate with her.
It was at that point that she stopped and went into her own self-love and healing journey and discovered what she really came here to do which was very shocking - to live life for herself!
There were many discoveries made about herself along the way but her inherent belief has always been that as a soul, we’re all here to uplift each other. Sometimes we get caught up on what we’re doing and saying versus what we’re being. But by trusting her internal voice, Suki has realised it’s more so about what she feels she’s here to do versus what she knows she’s here to do.
Suki is a huge fan of Disney and Pixar films which have this impeccable power for her to really help her come back to herself and who she’s here to be. In particular, the beautiful film, “Soul”. There’s a reason why children’s movies and Disney movies are so potent and so pure and soul-fulfilling for adults to watch. The truth that it carries no matter how old we are, and the magic that they contain: you’re here to live, to be yourself and everything’s going to be okay.

And how doing more inner work, even though it’s frightening sometimes, even though it might be easier to live with our conditioning and patterns, it’s not the same as doing the work and finding resonance and the true foundation within you.
Suki Chan is a Creator, Dreamer and Coach. She has been many things in this lifetime, but she knows herself as just a soul: here to play, answer all her deepest desires, and live life for herself. With a passion for self-love, spirituality and *intentional* living, Suki is now a Light Leader who inspires other souls to live life (first) for themselves. November 27, 2021 Your Authenticity is Your Strength with Jenny Ottaway
It used to be that showing vulnerability meant weakness. It was considered de rigueur to maintain stoicism, a stiff upper lip, that showing emotions and saying how you truly felt was exposing some sort of flaw in your character. We now know that isn't the case at all and in fact, when we let others know what challenges and difficulties we are going through and how we are dealing with them, it gives others permission to do the same. Authenticity is actually your strength!
I'm not talking about having a group Pity Party, however, what I am talking about is the strength that comes from knowing this is tough, this is a challenge but I have the inner strength, the resilience to get through it.
In this solo episode I share the things that formed my inner strength growing up and a story for modern times: when things around us are chaotic or people are behaving badly online or in person, it's possible to show inner strength to not get sucked into the drama. To hold yourself in your highest and greatest good. To have strength knowing things will get better. And to keep taking action towards that.

I talk about what you can do to break the cycle and what happens when you do. Self-sabotage is a common occurrence so you're not alone. The trick is to get back to the present moment, recognise when you're doing it and take small steps towards what it is you want to achieve or desire.
