  • Can Florida Ports Solve The Supply Chain Issues?
The U.S. supply chain is continuing to be impacted from the coronavirus pandemic on top of consumer demand, a labor shortage and delays overseas. As the holiday season approaches the demand is only getting worse. Last month, President Biden unveiled a plan to assist in easing bottlenecks in major ports in California by expanding hours of operations. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has pitched the Sunshine State to help assist in the current supply chain crisis, saying the ports have the capacity and are already operating on a 24/7 schedule. Could Florida's ports help alleviate the supply chain demand? President and CEO of the Florida Ports Council, Michael Rubin joins to discuss.

This week, the Supreme Court heard arguments about the controversial Texas SB 8 abortion law. While a ruling in that case could have huge implications, an upcoming challenge to a Mississippi abortion law could force the High Court to re-examine the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade abortion decision . FOX News Contributor and Law Professor at George Washington University Jonathan Turley joins the FOX News Rundown to discuss both cases, how he thinks the Supreme Court Justices may rule, and why he thinks there could be major changes to our country's abortion laws in the coming months.

  • Did Angry Virginia Parents Spark A Political Movement?
Today is Election Day 2021 for many states across the country, however all eyes are especially on the Virginia gubernatorial election. A race between former Democratic Virginia governor, Terry McAuliffe, and Republican newcomer and businessman Glenn Youngkin has tightened over the last few months, with many polls showing the candidates in a dead heat. As the people of Virginia head to polls, Fox News Chief Political Anchor and Host of Special Report Bret Baier joins to discuss how the candidates earned their spot in their respective primaries, the reason Youngkin's education platform has gained him significant momentum in the race, how former President Trump and President Biden are influencing the race and whether the outcome will give insight into 2022.

While both Democrats and Republicans are looking at the Virginia race today as a bellwether for next year's Midterm elections, one issue we have seen throughout the campaign is the debate over critical race theory being taught in schools. Parents in Loudon County VA have been quite vocal about their anger towards CRT, especially during school board meetings. The issue has ignited the debate whether parents should have a say in what is in their school district's curriculum. Executive Director of Fightforschools.com and a former senior official in the Trump Department of Justice, Ian Prior and Virginia Delegate Mark Levine (D) weigh in on the ongoing culture wars involving the school board and parents in Loudon County.

  • Scalise Says The Republicans Have Momentum Ahead of Midterms
Last week, President Biden announced a framework for a nearly $2 trillion social spending and climate package along with a separate $1 trillion dedicated to infrastructure that he and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi are now rallying Democrats to pass. The passage of these bills could mark a major victory for the Democrats before the 2022 midterms, however, the pieces of legislation have a ways to go before approval. House Minority Whip, Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) joins to discuss why he believes Democrats may find difficulty in whipping the votes, how a potential Republican victory in the Virginia governor's race could bode well for Republicans in the midterm elections and how he believes President Biden's foreign and climate policy decisions have made the U.S. weaker on the international stage.

  • FOX News Rundown EXTRA: Should Republicans Support Regulating Big Tech?
Executives from TikTok, YouTube and Snapchat were grilled by Senators on Capitol Hill this week.
They faced questions about how their platforms can potentially harm children, but also the censoring of conservatives and what they do with all the data they are collecting from their billions of users.
For years Congress have threatened Big Tech companies with regulations and legislation that would reign in their power and influence
Earlier this week, host Jessica Rosenthal spoke with Tennessee Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn about why she is troubled by the practices of companies like YouTube and Facebook and what lawmakers in Washington can do to address them.
She also raised concerns over how TikTok's ties to China could pose a national threat to the United States if it is collecting and sharing information on Americans.
The original interview was too long and we couldn't include all of it in our segment. On The FOX News Rundown EXTRA, you will hear our entire conversation with Sen. Blackburn and why she believes the reach and lack of transparency of social media platforms is an issue of national importance.

  • FOX News Rundown EXTRA: Suburban Voters Are Fired Up. A Republican Senator Thinks He Knows Why.
All eyes are on Virginia's Governor's race.
The outcome will have both statewide and national implications, and could also be a preview of next year's Midterms.
If former Democratic Governor Terry McAuliffe loses to Republican nominee Glenn Youngkin, political experts say it will be a suggestion that the GOP is once again gaining popularity in America's suburbs. If true, that will hurt Democrats in future.
Earlier this week, host Jessica Rosenthal spoke to Republican Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy on the FOX News Rundown about the Virginia race, and how the Democrats ongoing internal fight over passing the infrastructure bill and President Biden's agenda is impacting the race. Sen. Cassidy also discussed how economic issues were helping his party make gains in the suburban
But our conversation covered way more ground that and much of it did not make it in to the segment that ran this week.
Sen. Cassidy also discussed how Americans are also upset about issues like vaccine mandates, the influence of social media and how things continue to  unfold in Afghanistan.
On the FOX News Rundown Extra, you will hear our entire conversation with Senator Bill Cassidy and hear everything he had to say on a whole list of issues important to Americans.

Jared and FOX News Congressional Correspondent, Chad Pergram break down what happened this week and what comes next.
