  • NYPD and FDNY Shortage Fears Over NYC Vaccine Mandate
It's deadline day in America's largest city. All New York City workers have to show proof of at least one COVID-19 shot by 5PM ET or face being put on unpaid leave. This includes thousands of unvaccinated police, firefighters, sanitation workers and EMTs. New York City isn't the only place facing protests against mandates. We also speak with Legislative Director of The International Union of Police Associations (IUPA) Dennis Slocumb about what he's heard from officers in regard to the mandates across the U.S., what he's concerned about if we lose more officers and what he thinks is the best outcome from the mandate issue.

President Biden announced a new 1.75 trillion-dollar social spending framework, calling it a  "historic economic framework" that his administration believes can pass a party line vote in Congress. FOX News Sunday anchor, Chris Wallace joins to discuss whether this package will ultimately pass, why the President is pushing for broad sweeping legislation without a sizeable majority in Congress, whether this package would have substantial impact on fighting climate change and how the results of the Virginia governor's race could change how Democrats run their campaigns in 2022.

Over the summer, the National Collegiate Athletic Association adopted a temporary policy that would allow college athletes to begin to benefit and get paid for their name, image, and likeness. The NIL policy changes came on the heels of a unanimous Supreme Court decision that the NCAA cannot limit student-athletes with education-related benefits. Along with this court case, the issue was subject to major public scrutiny, with some college athletes speaking out against the rule as unfair and outdated. One of these college athletes, Rutgers University basketball star Geo Baker joins to explain why he found the NCAA rules on name, image, and likeness inequitable for student-athletes, how people met home with support and negativity when he chose to speak out against this policy and how this change in college sports is going to have a profound impact on the lives of the players as well as the fans.
