Joining Bill in the studio this week was Ian Martinson & Friends. Ian is a songwriter from Lincolnshire with a poetic touch that blends heartfelt lyrics with a melodic simplicity was joined by two excellent musicians Andy Cowan on guitar and Roy Lyon on Harmonica. Ian is one half of duo Emmandi, who have captivated audiences with their live performances and will be playing on the Fox's Den later in the year.

The last time Louis was on was about 3 years ago, but he'd taken a bit of a break from music recently. Having restarted gigging again, Louis has written a couple of new songs and he also performed some covers, too.

Joining Bill in the studio this week was Phil Clubley, making his debut on the show. Phil contacted the show a couple of weeks ago about coming on, then last week he was running a stage at Cottingham Springfest that Bill visited, but neither twigged on who each other were. Phil played a great set of original songs with a couple of covers in the mix, too, and we look forward to him returning to the studio in the future for more shows.
