This week was full of work, with a new task almost everyday. In terms of key learning, side projects like online selling and the creation of my website brought me some good ideas. On top of that, I started a marketing book about how to make your ideas stick in people's mind and be easily remembered.

This week 10's episode gathers the day 39 to 43 of my internship for Adidas Japan, during which I mainly worked on a big project regarding the pricing analysis of Adidas and its competitors. As I was really diving deep into my big task today, I realized that I almost always use the same 3-rule methodology to tackle all my new challenges. Keeping the discipline of using those 3 golden rules help me a lot when it comes to project management.

Today was the official kickoff of our new project regarding the adidas's range architecture. I spent the whole day trying to get familiar with the tools and the methodology that has to be used for it. In the evening, I joined my first session of Sekai creator, an 8-week startup creation programm for students in Tokyo. There, I realized there are two main kind of ideas: customer-centric and product-centric, two concepts that I further explain in today's episode.

Just like today, it's not always easy to work in a japanese environment, as I'm not billingual yet. During big meetings, when managers are debating, it's very likely that I won't understand much of it, which means one thing: I have to keep working hard on improving my japanese! The key learning of the day could be summed up with: "Whenever you perform a task, you have to think of and try to understand the big picture and the reason why you’ve been ask to do that specific thing."

While today wasn't a busy day at work, I had the chance to be invited for a football gme (Japan-Uruguay) by one of my colleague. Was it random? Not really. This is mainly thanks to the fact that I spent time to build a relationship with him, and that we are both football passionates.

While today was a lot less busy than last week, I was assigned a new task that would have taken me forever without my coworker's help. That situation made me think of how important it is to show how grateful you are, when somebody takes the time to teach/help you.
