Don't get us wrong Australia is a great country, it is just our federal politicians, both Liberal and Labor are dragging the chain when it comes to climate change action and weaning off fossil fuels.

Unless you have being living under a rock, you will know that for a week in February 2021 Facebook banned news content in Australia. After falling out with our federal government over details about a mandatory news code. This topic has been covered extensively with other Australian podcasters, nevertheless, it has got us thinking? What are the implications? Can we quit for good? Is there another viable alternative that cuts down on Social Media addiction?

Today's guest Aussie ex-pat Jill Schuller has ticked all of those boxes. Last year she quit Facebook and Instagram, and this year she created Sundayy, a mindfulness-based social media app, that lets you check in with your friends once a week on a Sunday. Think of it as digitalized brunch.
