This is the end of season 3 :(. Don't worry a special episode will be out on Monday. Season 4 will return on September 30th.
Increasing for all of us, we are living in urban environments. However, what has experience of living through the covid pandemic has taught us is that urban design and living has not changed much since the 1950s.
Take a voyage on the good ship SS Tomorrow back in time in 1958, it has been 13 years since the war has ended and urban planning is all about the motor car and leafy suburbia. Take it back to today, and we can start to see that this way of living, is no longer sustainable. In fact, it is hurting the planet.
Today's guest is Micah Gabriels, CEO at Mooven from Auckland, NZ. He aims to disrupt the construction industry and provide a blue print for building user friendly cities of the future.
To find out more about Mooven click here.

Can AI really be taught to be creative?
Let's take another voyage into the future, on the good ship SS Tomorrow. In 2046, the singularity has happen yet we see humans and cobots (collaborative robots) working side by side. Cobots are performing laborious tasks and humans are adding in finesse. It seems we are still a long way of understanding how to teach context and nuance, if AI is to get creative. Perhaps somethings are left to humanity.
Take things back to the present. today's guests have either co-authored with AI or has built an app where AI can write copy for small business marketing.
Shane Neeley holds degrees in molecular, cellular and developmental biology and bioengineering. He traded in his lab coat for a laptop and has spent the last decade writing code for biomedical software companies. He is particularly interested in AI for language generation and other means of computational creativity, like visual art.
As an author, blogger and podcaster, Shane shares a transformative message about technology and biology through comedic writing and speaking.
His latest project is a book, Stone Age Code: From Monkey Business to AI. The book itself, the cover art, the acclaim, and numerous prose snippets were made with the help of some charismatic robots that he trained. For more info on Shane visit https://www.shaneneeley.com/stone-age-code/. Stone Age Code, his novel can be found on Kobo and Amazon and it is a fascinating read.
Suzette Bailey has co-founded Simple Marketing.ai, which adds value to busy small business owners. By freeing up their time with AI-generated copywriter blogs and social media posts. It is up to them to add the finishing touches. For more information check out simplemarketing.ai
The AI-generated voice-over in this episode was first written by eleuther.ai and translated from text to voice via Speechelo.

Let's first take a voyage of discovery on the good ship SS Tomorrow, back to the 17th and 19th Centuries. Here you witness some of humanity's finest work being born out of humanity's darkest hours. Having nothing better to do it seems, is the mother of all inventions.
Today's guest is Bret Treasure, co-founder of the first anti-procrastination app on iTunes and Google Play stores: Stake Something. In the studio we are going to have a chat about the good and bad sides of procrastination, and why it can be a creative force. For further information here is Bret's 30-second explainer video about the app.

Wrapping up our Blockchain and Crypto Month. We investigate the one question that seems to be repeated throughout the episodes: Is crypto mining bad for the environment?
To help us out, we invited old friends back to the show. First and foremost Mark and John from NTT Ltd explain in detail what crypto mining actually is.
In the second part of the episode, we chat with crypto experts Blair Urquhart who introduces us to Meet Chia and Jeremy from Boston Trading Co. About their thoughts on the environmental impact. The short answer is it depends on if the cryptocurrency is mined via proof of work or proof of stake. Which you can check out their definitions here
Mark and John from NTT Ltd can be also be heard on Series 1 Episode 17 . To find out more about NTT visit https://hello.global.ntt/
Jeremy can be previously heard on Series 1 Episodes 4 and 5. He has been a financial planner since 1992. He has decades of experience in direct stocks, property and managed funds, as well as for cryptocurrencies. Jeremy used old 300-year-old tools to predict the GFC two years before it occurred, in his award-winning best-seller. He also predicted the 2020 market crash six months before the COVID19 virus hit. For the last few years, he has served as the CFO of BostonCoin, the world's first diversified crypto-ETF. During 2020, BostonCoin increased in value by over 300%, with less volatility than bitcoin. Find out more at www.BostonTrading.co
Jeremy has also got a great resource for cryptocurrency first-timers at www.cryllionaire.

Continuing our blockchain and crypto month. This week we are focusing on one application of blockchain technology you may have not thought of Accounting.
Our guest Chris D'Costa is a part of a team that is developing Totem. Which is blockchain-backed accounting software that can transpire borders and boundaries.
More about our guest:
Chris D’Costa is the founder of Totem Accounting, creator and driving force behind the implementation of the peer-to-peer Live Accounting Protocol. Chris spent over 20 years designing and building enterprise accounting, business intelligence and ERP systems. In 2013, Chris and a few Bitcoin early adopters started the Belgian Bitcoin Association as an educational and policy advisory body around legal status and other issues concerning blockchain and cryptocurrencies to governmental organisations, private individuals and corporations. In 2014, Chris combined his enterprise architect background and technical blockchain expertise to research the concept of global corporate currencies with his clients which disclosed a universal disconnect in the exchange of accounting information. The result of the research is the Live Accounting Protocol used in Totem’s blockchain application, Totem Live. The Totem Live Accounting Network - a decentralized real-time peer-to-peer accounting network - is still in alpha development but has been live since April 2019. The team is anticipating a full product public mainnet launch in late 2021.
