Today we have the ability to hear and see what is going on all around the world. In ancient times however, they didn’t have that luxury. One way empires were able to get the news of the day out to people was through currency. We welcome Peter Colón to the program today. Peter is a Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry representative and will explain how coins of ancient times told stories when they were used and still tell stories today! We’ll also hear news surrounding Israel and Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading from the life of Holocaust survivor, Zvi Kalisher.

Can a Christian lose their salvation? We're covering eternal security this week on the program. The Bible says when we become believers in Jesus the Messiah we become a new creation. But can God's free gift of salvation be taken away? Is it a conditional gift? Chris will take us to God’s Word to see how eternal security is not up to us, but God. We’ll also hear news surrounding Israel and Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading from the life of Holocaust survivor, Zvi Kalisher.

Building Bridges, Bringing Hope. That is our tagline here at The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry. For our Ministry Highlight program this week we're excited to share with you a way our North American team is building bridges with the Jewish community. We welcome to the program Ty Perry, one of our workers in Las Vegas, NV and Rabbi Felipe Goodman. Ty and Rabbi Goodman have a unique relationship that began in a Bible study and they will be sharing with Chris about their recent experience traveling to Poland and the Holy Land together.

We are concluding our series, "Discovering the Psalms." Isn't it amazing that these verses were written thousands of years ago and they still resonate with us today? This week Chris shares how the Psalms relate to us personally. Why do we as believers keep coming back to them time after time? Also we'll hear news surrounding Israel as well as Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading from the life of Holocaust survivor Zvi Kalisher.

We are continuing in our series this week, “Discovering the Psalms.” The Book of Psalms most vividly expresses the doubt and faith individuals have placed in the Lord as they walked with Him. If we’re honest, many of us read the Psalms for personal comfort—and that’s okay! But as we start to peel layers off this popular book of the Bible, we see a unique structure that is in each of the 150 chapters. This week Chris will explain the layout of the Psalms and how they flow together. Also hear news surrounding Israel as well as Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading from the life of Holocaust survivor Zvi Kalisher.

As we continue in our series “Discovering the Psalms,” we go to ancient Israel where we’ll learn about Psalms the Israelites used to worship God and welcome new kings. Chris will take us to the New Testament and show us how those Psalms were used in describing Jesus. Isn’t it amazing how the Bible connects! Then we’ll hear how new “psalms” or poetry are still comforting us through music in the church today. Also news surrounding Israel as well as Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading from the life of Holocaust survivor Zvi Kalisher.

We're excited to begin a new series, "Discovering the Psalms." This week Chris will focus on the author's perspective in the Psalms. We'll take a look at who the authors were and what the original intent was for their songs and poetry. We'll see a pattern in the Psalms that we hope will give you a new and deeper perspective of the verses you read during times of praise, rejoicing, heartache, and pain. Also enjoy Apples of Gold and news surrounding Israel.

It’s one of our favorite episodes: our Israel My Glory magazine in-depth episode. We welcome Dr. Jim Showers, the executive director here at The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry to talk about this very popular issue, “Here We Stand.” It’s a deeper look at our ministry’s statement of faith and we’ll hear from Dr. Showers about why it matters to know what you believe. In the second half of our program, we talk about Dr. Rennie Showers, beloved theologian, and teacher who was promoted to heaven earlier this year. Has Dr. Showers impacted your life? We’d love to hear from you!

This week we’re concluding our series on the book of Amos. Learning about true justice, biblical justice, gives us a glimpse into what is close to God’s heart. The prophet Amos was called to shine a light on God’s imminent judgment that was coming for Israel, but also we’ll see that God promises restoration. We’ll end the program with Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading from Holocaust survivor Zvi Kalisher.

We are continuing our series in the book of Amos. We have been learning that justice is close to the heart of God. Looking at Israel from the outside in the time of Amos, one would believe God was blessing them. They had abundant wealth and peace throughout the land. So what was the problem? Listen and find out! We’ll end the program with Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading from Holocaust survivor Zvi Kalisher.
