We’ve chosen a special past-series to air this week. We hope you enjoy! The New Testament Gospels are filled with stories from the life of Jesus. But why are there four books that share many of the same stories? The answer: perspective. God used four different men with unique backgrounds to share the good news with the world. This week we’ll look at the book of Matthew. Written by a Jewish man to Jewish people, this Gospel shares a joyful message. The Jewish people had been waiting for their Messiah, and Matthew wanted them to know that Jesus is the One they’d been waiting for! Keep listening for a miraculous story of deliverance in the Yom Kippur War and a joyful account from Zvi Kalisher in Apples of Gold.

This week we’re wrapping up our two-part series “Israel’s Redeemer Repairs Our World” from one of our past annual prophecy conferences here at The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry. We hope you’ll find encouragement in this study of God’s plan for Israel and the whole world. Listen as Chris explains the nature of our salvation from God’s judgment and the true beauty of the peace of Jerusalem. This is the hope that we look forward to as we patiently await His coming to restore the world!

We’re sharing with you a special two-part series from one of our past annual prophecy conferences here at The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry. Chris shared, “Israel’s Redeemer Repairs Our World” and we hope you’ll be encouraged. We can all look around and see the world is cursed by sin but did you know that Jesus will one day come back and repair it back to what God intended it to be in Eden?

When you look back into church history, a common theme you will find is anti-Semitism. As far back as the first few centuries after Jesus’s death, many in the church were blaming the Jewish people for being “Christ killers.” This week we welcome Dr. Bill Krewson to the program to share about a church scholar that lived 1700 years ago and went against the status quo in his day and actually reached out to the Jewish people. We’ll end the program with Apples of Gold, a retelling of stories from Holocaust survivor, Zvi Kalisher.

We’ve selected a favorite past-episode to air this week. We hope you enjoy!

Have you ever heard that the church is “the bride of Christ?” The Bible uses the picture of marriage all throughout Scripture. This week Chris takes us back to the times of Jesus and explains, in detail, a Jewish wedding. Once we understand the ancient Jewish tradition of marriage, we better understand what Jesus was saying to His disciples when He said he had to leave and prepare a place for us. And we can wait expectantly for His return. God is in the details! Stay with us for news surrounding Israel and an encouraging story in Apples of Gold.

Life in Israel is fascinating! This week we are taking a deeper look into our most recent issue of Israel My Glory magazine. This issue is all about Israel! We’re talking with Meno Kalisher, Zvi Kalisher’s son who is the pastor of a congregation in Jerusalem. We’ll learn about what it’s like to be a believer in Jesus living in Israel. We think you’ll not only learn something new but also have plenty to pray for as you think of Israel and the Jewish people.

We see throughout the Bible that the temple is very important to the Jewish people. It wasn't the building that was important however, it was Who was in the temple. This week we will learn about the history of the rebuilding of the temple and where we need to place our focus. Also we'll hear Apples of Gold and some news surrounding Israel.

Raise your hand if you’ve been to the Holy Land or hope to go sometime soon! Israel is in a touring boom right now. Thousands of Christians every year are making their way to walk in the footsteps of the Messiah Jesus and heroes of the faith. Did you know that people have been making a pilgrimage to the Holy Land for thousands of years? This week we’ll learn which early Christians made their way to the Holy Land and why. Also enjoy Apples of Gold and news surrounding Israel.

This week we conclude the rebroadcast of our popular series "Not to the Strong" based on the Old Testament book of Judges. We'll learn the stories of Deborah, Barak, and Jephthah and how God used them greatly between the time of Joshua and the time when Israel would have a king. We’ll also hear a dramatic reading from the life of Holocaust survivor and believer in Jesus, Zvi Kalisher, in Apples of Gold.
