  • Devil is in the Details with Will Bagrou

Will Bagrou joins the Full 90' to discuss his journey through football!

Will discusses his childhood, speaking about how he only joined academy football late in his high school career. We also talk about how late he was when it came to committing to college and deciding that was his best route.

After a successful 4 years at Mercer University, Will was invited to the MLS combine and was eventually drafted by Sporting Kansas City. Unfortunately, Will picked up an injury on the preseason camp and was later cut as a result. Will talk's about his approach after being drafted, how he felt "undervalued" having gone so late in the draft. He talks about how he may have some regrets about how he approached preseason.

After being cut, Will found himself in Birmingham to maintain his fitness for the year. When the next year came around, he found himself with an opportunity in Orlando. Although it was an opportunity, but turned out to be a bit of a tough club situation, having been promised certain things that didn't come to fruition.

Will then talks about looking abroad and pursuing some opportunities before signing in Austria. Unfortunately, Will then suffered a career-halting injury while playing in Austria. After learning he needed surgery, Will flew home with a broken leg 2 days after the injury occurred. Then we discuss a little about his rehab.

We then talk about how Will stays involved with football, running a new personal football training business.
