This is technically our anniversary episode but it isn't episode 52 since we missed a week or two. It's just over 1 year from when I decided to make a podcast and little while later Adam agreed to do it full time vs. being a guest. It's been fun! Looking forward to many more! Thank you for listening.

This week we talk fondly remember See You Next Tuesday playing a show and censoring themselves since it was in a church. We talk about some other random music from the area too. Adam talks about one his favorite games, Contra. I finally won a game of commander and can't for the life of me remember the card combo that did it. 

Of course we read some Fox!

Our first episode back as The Funprofessionals! You'll be shocked to know it really isn't much different. 

This week Adam bust out his old Pokemon cards. Turns out he keeps them in his basement in a Samsonite briefcase. Not what I expected but in reality it's basically a briefcase full of cash. He should roll up to a shady business deal and bust that thing open. "You go the goods?" *unclasp* "It's all here.".

We still journey into Fox magazine letters and found a box of untapped potential so we can keep going for quite some time. That's right, it's not going away for the foreseeable future.

This is our last podcast as Ash N' Grind. Not that the show is going to change that much or that your subscription/downloads are going to disappear. We will still be here just under a new name. Well, not a new name. An old name that we are bringing back. The Funprofessionals. My brother today said "I don't like the name. It seems like some corporate HR name" or something like it. You know what, he's right! That is actually sort of part of the fun. We definitely aren't corporate HR friendly.

We look forward to continuing as The Funprofessionals and hope you join us there.

We're back after missing a week. To apologize I read an extra special letter out of Fox magazine that is sure to get juices flowing... Other than that it's a pretty normal week! We talk some recent magic games and our deck building. I give an update on my progress with Jedi Fallen Order and Adam talks some Hollow Knight. 

This week we venture further down the rabbit hole of Magic the Gathering and chat about some recent games and purchases. Adam alters one of his decks in search for victory. I started playing Jedi Fallen Order to give me a taste of story game once again. Hopefully I stick to it and finish it up. 

We dive deep into a long letter on Fox that is probably fake but it is nice to imagine some guy got reallllll lucky one time.

This week we go a little nerdier than just the usual video games and movie talk. We dive into some Magic the Gathering and discuss how we've started playing again and don't plan on stopping. Why should we? Of course, nothing compliments a fun strategy game like a cigar. You can look your opponent in the eyes while puffing on your cigar and keeping them guessing whether you're going to kill them this turn or the next one. 

We go in on some new issues of Fox magazine to read what we think are the funniest letters and advice from Jill K. herself.

This week we give you some fun facts about the 42nd president in honor of our 42nd episode, Silly Billy Clinton. Other than that we talk about some video games, UFC for the first time in a while, and of course Fox magazine. We ring every last drop of sticky text out of those pages.

This week we recap our holiday weekend at Adam's little cabin on the empty lake while we smoke my last two Yaguas from J.C. Newman. This last week they announced the return of the Yagua for 2021 so it felt appropriate to have a go at my last two from 2020. These smokes are fantastic and long lasting. They are so good they were a little bit moldy on the tip (I was negligent) and we just cut that off and gave it a go!

This week we got to recording right after playing some hockey and are both pretty tired. It was a hot day in the Stogie House Studios. We talk about the usual Stogie House stuff. Hockey, music, movies, and of course Fox Magazine.

I smoked a Crux Bull and Bear while Adam smokes a Rocky Patel Tavicusa. A couple more stogies to add to the list of will definitely smoke again.

This week we discuss the order in which we each enjoyed the 9 sticks of Stogie House. It's like the Love Island of stogie smoking. We don't remember that much but the ones that were memorable were ranked higher. We also touch on going to our first concert since COVID kicked off and how enjoyable it was. My wife (Aaron's) actually joins us off mic at the end for the Fox segment.

Aaron smokes his last Ezra Zion Throne of Games and Adam smokes an Ashton.
