This week we didn't have a plan. I was looking through my humidor and nothing really jumped out and said, "Smoke me Aaron." Since we were planning a short show anyway, I decided to hit the party store for some less than desirable smokes. We smoked a collection of Black and Milds and a couple of Backwoods. While not "real" cigars they definitely have their place in the world of smoking. Hope you enjoy this short one!

This week we smoke the final submission into the Stogie House smoke off. It's the Perdomo 10th Anniversary Sun Grown. We will be discussing our individual rankings in 2 weeks for episode 39 so make sure you check it out! We also talk a little Fort, UFC with Derrick Lewis losing, Adam Sandler movies and how the women are always VV, and of course some good old Fox magazine.

This week we smoke the Trinidad Espiritu No. 2! It was a gift from a buddy who wanted us to add it our list. After smoking it Adam and I realize why he sprung for the box. It's a dark chocolate stick that puts of a plume delicious smoke.

We circle back to book covers being a status symbol, discuss the Brazilian steakhouse, and remember some old Ren and Stimpy!

This week we smoke a cigar from Jorge's Cigars made right here in Michigan. I'm sorry but I don't know anything more than that. Well I guess I do. I know it was a pretty tasty smoke that we will certainly be trying again.

We talk a little bit about Sugar: The Bitter Truth and how even though we understand sugar is Ace Ventura to the Whachootoo tribe, we still love to munch that stuff down. I remember what it was like to be good at video games (ahh the good old days). We run through some more movies and much more.

This week we smoke the Perdomo Lot 23 Sun Grown! Personally, I think this has been the best overall quality of cigar we've smoked. The construction and burn were on point. 

I give my thoughts on the new Space Jam. We talk about Fortnite characters, random movies that popped in our heads, and of course Fox. This week it is a little early but ends with about 20 mins left in the episode. If you're a skipper, don't go to the end.

This week we smoke the Cuesta-Rey Centario No. 6. Both of us really enjoy it. That makes two great J.C. Newman produced logs in two weeks.

We finally circle back to our guilty pleasure bands and Mr. Western. So if you were really looking forward to that last week, it is here! Of course, we close out with a Fox!

This week we smoke the J.C. Newman Brick House Double Connecticut. We were selecting at random for the 1st 3 cigars in the contest but this one just seemed right for the 4th of July with it's American flag style band. We started off with a loose agenda this week but just ended up rambling as friends will do sometimes. Talking all sorts of nonsense as usual including erection pill heart attacks, being dumber (more dumb/less intelligent/see this is an example) than animals, and of course FOX magazine.

This week we smoke our 3rd entry into The Stogie House and it is the Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticut. I have some issues but Adam's smokes like a chimney so I'm chalking it up to user error and the ridiculous level of humidity in the garage. 

We finally discuss one of the weirdest short films you will ever see: There's Something Strange About the Johnsons. If you're interested in movies that make you go WTF, give it a shot. We talk about The Contortionist and how good they used to be. Adam talks about his loner trip to his cabin. We also talk about some other great movies like Good Will Hunting, Ford vs. Ferrari, and Rush. Of course, we end on a good note with the Fox letters of the week.

This week we go through the 8 cigars competing to be the king or queen (I don't want to assume their gender) of the Stogie House. Each week we are going to pick at random from 8 options and talk about the cigar. What we like and what we don't like. At the end of 8 weeks we will crown the champion. The lucky cigar this week is the Kentucky Fire Cured Swamp Thang.

Beyond the cigars we talk about screen time, Michael Jackson, Steve Irwin, and of course some letters from the famous Fox magazine.
