The Gaffer Tapes: Fantasy Football Comedy Podcast

Award nominated The Gaffer Tapes is back and Tom, Ash & Craig discuss what was one of the most exciting gameweeks in FPL history! Aguero hit 5, Rodgers got sacked and Chelsea lost again. The guys look at The Gaffer Tapes league and looks at their own progress a couple months in. There’s all the usual features and Ash brings the podcast into 2015 with an emoji based behemoth of a game.

Craig & Ash go it alone this week before Tom’s return. He does, however, roll back the years and send in a Points Of View letter with some complaints. In his absence, there’s a fair amount of football discussed and tactics talked. As always, the Gaffers read through your tweets, run down the league leaders, dish out manager of the month and slag off Spurs and Tim Sherwood. Some things never change.

Ash, Craig & on loan signing Andy discuss gameweek 6, including the moral dilemma of Costa and West Ham’s inevitable romp to the title. There’s talk of Rodgers’ successor, Mclaren’s similarity to Tesco and Craig goes all Billy Kennedy, when reading out the emails. There’s the usual tips, advice, previews and Andy stands in for Tom in Ash’s weekly quiz.

The Gaffers are back after an unwanted International break with actor Andy Gibbins standing in for Tom, making it a worryingly informative week. GameWeek 5 is reviewed and there’s a twist on Neal or Real. The twist being it’s actually good!

The Gaffers are BACK to talk Game Week 4, the transfer window, next week’s fixtures and the fact that Tom can’t join a bandwagon without the wheels falling off. A special guest joins them in the studio to play another of Ash’s quizzes that could even rival Neil or Real… you have been warned.

The Gaffers are back… minus Craig, who has gone into hiding after some over-confidence on social media led to his downfall. The brains (and beauty) of the outfit Tom and Ash talk you through Game Week 2, bad refereeing, bandwagons and steel chair shots, as well as previewing the next Game Week and having a go at The Gaffer Gambler… without our resident gambler.

With the start of week 2 already looming the gang look at the first friday fixture as well as all last weeks results. Tom gets a little bit too personal, Craig misses his Gamblers Anonymous meeting and Ash drops the S bomb. Then the gang celebrate Barcelona winning the super cup in the only way they know how.. Neil or Real.

As the players lace up their boots for the first game of the season the Gaffers are back.

The Gaffer Tapes is back for the 2015/2016 season! The boys run through the runners and riders for the new season and give a rundown on transfer business so far. They also put their reputations on the line with some tips and predictions and update you on the new rules and regs. Oh and Tom wears a Spurs shirt!

With the Premier League season over and a football less summer ahead, the gaffers look back on the inaugural Gaffer Tapes league. Tom discovers he’s actually got worse, Craig offends women worldwide and Ash actually delivers an interesting Quiz for you all to play along at home. Better late than never. See you next season!
