Acts 9:1-9; "Who are you?" This is the endless and haunting question which plagues the human condition. Colossians 3:8-14; The lack of unity in the church, gossip, divisions, backbiting, and disharmony, has had devastating effects on local churches and can be one of the biggest stumbling blocks within the Church as a whole. Acts 2:42-47 is probably the most famous passage when it comes to defining “church.” But it can also be one of the most dangerous passages as wekk. Join us this morning as we look into the marks of the Acts 2 church and discover “church as church should be."

Acts 32:41; The day the Holy Spirit is poured into the Church, explosive movement and growth mark the beginnings of the early church. As thousands listen, Peter makes a very bold declaration that “you have crucified Jesus.” How can this be? How can Peter make this accusation? Have killed our only hope?

At Pentecost humans are invited to be swept up into the eternal dance of the Triune God. This text captures that intitial moment when the people of God were spwet into the life of God and fully invited to join him in his song, dance, and work on earth. No matter who you are, where your from, your weaknesses or past failures, God invites you to dance.

Acts 1:1-14; The early believers have just received the Great Commission from Jesus to go into all the world and make disciples. But wait. They are instructed by Jesus to wait for the Holy Spirit to come on them. How often do we move too fast, relying on our own strengths and power, not fully waiting on the Holy Spirit to move in and through us?

Why don't we take anger seriously? We tend to write it off; "It's just a little anger, it's not a sin." John cautions us not to tolerate anger or any sin, no matter how small, but to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Hebrews 13:9-14; This final teaching from the book of Hebrews sums up the message of Hebrews looking the challenge of following Jesus "outside the camp." Outside the camp represented sin, pain, brokenness, the sick, and the unwanted. Jesus went outside the camp, will you follow him there?

Hebrews 12:14-17; 13:1-8; This teaching explores what it means to be a community of grace. In Hebrews we see the calling for all in the church to make sure no one misses the grace of God. The author then gives the example of Esau. What does this mean and how does Esau and a bowl of stew relate to us becoming a community of grace?
