Hebrews 11:35-40; As Hebrews continues, the author gives examples of men and women who lived by faith, and because of their faith, never backed down in the face of persecution because they believed in a better resurrection. These were people who had a hope in something better.

Luke 620-26; This teaching looks at the “Upside-Down” aspect of the Gospel and the Kingdom. In a world which tells us we're blessed when we attain fame, popularity, money, and power, Jesus changes everything. Blessed are the poor, the hungry, the weeping, the despised.

This teaching continues a series exploring three different aspects of the Gospel and the Kingdom. There is a forward-back tension to the Kingdom, the Kingdom has been fully realized yet has not fully arrived. As we look forward to Christ's second coming and the full arrival of God's Kingdom, the forward-back tension causes us to live in that reality now as citizens of a coming Kingdom.

This teaching begins a series exploring three different aspects of the Gospel and the Kingdom. There is an inside-out aspect to the Gospel; religious acts, good deeds, community projects, and changed behavior are ultimately not enough. The Gospel begins with a deeper transformation at the core of who we are.

Hebrews 10:19-36; “Therefore” we can fully enter into worship. At the core of the Christian faith is this act of worship and this morning we dive into this passage of Hebrews in which the author urges the reader to persevere not never stop meeting together...like so many have done.

Hebrews 10:1-14; On one hand we may find ourselves seeking our own glory, status, and fame yet on the other we may be working hard for God’s approval and to please him. What we find at the end of it all is exhaustion and endless work. What is the good news of the Gospel? “Jesus offered one sacrifice and sat down.”Join us this morning as we explore the finished work of Christ.

Hebrews 8:1-13; So often we become distracted in our faith because of our own failures and shortcomings. How can God continue to love us as we fall so often. This teaching, according to Hebrews, get to “the point” of the matter, there is a New Covenant of Love, not Law.

Hebrews 7:18-28; Am I good enough? Successful enough? Moral enough? Beautiful? Smart? Hebrews describes Jesus is described as one who intercessed on our behalf; as an advocate, he pleads our case. But he is not pleading for mercy. As he brings the payment for our guilt, he demands justice. In the greatest courtroom of all, God has declared us as worthy. And this changes our identity.

Hebrews 4:14-5:10; This teaching looks into the old sacrificial system and the role of the High Priest. Hebrews presents Jesus as the new High Priest. What does that mean for us? What does that mean for the old system?In Jesus, the veil in the temple was torn and the old system was completed. But how often do we return to that old system and reject the grace of Christ.
