I’m turning 40 this month and it has made me ask myself some really uncomfortable questions about my ideas, my business, what I’m building next, and why the fuck I still get stuck when I already know what to do.
The truth is, I don’t have an idea problem.
I don’t have an information problem.
I don’t even have a strategy problem.
I have an execution problem.
In this solo episode, we’re gardening and talking about how many potentially life changing ideas never actually fail because we never give them the opportunity to fucking work.
The Garden Tok started as one of those freshly gardened ideas. It has now grown into this podcast with more than 10,000 downloads, brand deals, a feature in High Times, and a community of gardeners who continue to prove that there is space for cannabis loving adults to show up exactly as they are.
I’m also talking about getting comfortable on camera, creating confidence through repetition, comparing yourself to people who are already doing the thing you want to do, feeling like you are starting too late, and why you need to stop letting other people shit on your ideas.
You don’t need to have the entire plan figured out.
You just need to take one tiny step toward the thing you keep saying you want.
Instead of constantly asking what if nobody watches, what if nobody follows, or what if nobody buys, maybe it is time to ask yourself a different question.
