Sup y’all, welcome back and thanks for lending me your ears. On this episode, I had an awesome conversation with a kick ass chef by the name of Jeana Pecha. We sat down at her kitchen table over a bottle of mezcal and shared a whole slew of shit going on in our lives.
Jeana is the executive chef of the catering company I work for. From the first day I met her, we really clicked and were having some really powerful conversations. It was a no brainer that I had to get her on the podcast, and luckily for me, she was super down.
My original plan was to ask Jeana a bunch of questions related to Anthony Bourdain and his book Kitchen Confidential. I recently read it, and a big reason why I did was because I was so inspired by Jeana and her badass passion and energy I saw in her work. Needless to say, we never quite made it to the topic of Kitchen Confidental, but I couldn’t be more happy with where the conversation went and the outcome of this podcast.
On Sundays, you can catch Jeana at the Lost Parrot Cafe in South Pasadena. She runs that whole kitchen, created the entire menu, and comes up with insanely gas specials every week. I know she would love it if y’all popped in on her and said what’s up.
