This past weekend, Pastor Mac gave the third installment of his teaching series entitled, “The Gatekeeper of Power.” Ephesians 1:19 says there is an exceeding greatness of power to usward who believe, yet many are frustrated they do not experience the power of God in their lives. They have yet to learn that their own minds are what controls the power of God flowing through their lives. However, the mind can be either a gateway for the power of God or a gateway for the deception of the enemy. To be a gatekeeper for the power of God to flow in your life, you must renew your mind to the Word of God. 

Pastor Mac used the Tower of Babel in Genesis chapter 11 to illustrate the power of the imagination. The people were determined to build a tower into the heavens and God said about them, “…nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do” (v. 6). God created the human brain with the ability to mentally image a future probability. That’s the power of imagination. However, imagination can be used to bring evil into your life just as it can bring God’s purpose and blessing into your life as well. So the question is, what are you imagining?
