What is life really for?

This past Sunday, at Storyline's Gathering, we wrapped up our Life Worth Living series by exploring how hope, faith, and love invite us into something bigger than simply playing it safe or trying to be “nice.” We wondered together about who we are, why we’re here, and the joy that comes from living on mission.

To start 2026, we've been wondering together about cultivating a life worth living. But what about when life doesn't cooperate? What about the pain we didn’t choose, the losses we can’t explain, and the evil we can’t ignore? What about suffering?

This past Sunday, at Storyline's Gathering, we considered how God is inviting us to navigate, survive, and even thrive when life is hard.

This past Sunday, at Storyline’s Gathering, we explored how Jesus’s invitation to “lose our lives to find them” isn’t about becoming less of ourselves, but more fully who we were made to be. Together, we considered how understanding who we are helps us live lives that are genuinely worth living.
