Canadian actor, songwriter, game and talk show host Alan Thicke has passed away at age 69. Fans will remember Thicke from his role as Jason Seaver, the father on the ABC television series Growing Pains, The majority of his success came from producing what would become some of his era's most popular sitcoms, including "Diff'rent Strokes" and "The Facts of Life."
