Patty Tolan to band together, not only to prove that ghosts exist in modern society but also to stop the threat with badass prejudice. Despite our preconceived notions, we had a great time with this. Tarzan, having acclimated to life in London, is called back to his former home in the jungle to investigate the activities at a mining encampment. Simple as that for a plot but somewhere you crowbar in Sam Jackson, supernatural ability to talk to animals, and a lot of grim on-screen murder in a pseudo family film... yeah, you might go all crosseyed like we did. Luckily there were washboard abs for days to keep us on track.

CBS rejected a new TV adaptation of "Nancy Drew" after the pilot, despite testing well, is deemed "too female skewed for CBS." Had the show been picked up, audiences would have been treated to a re-imagined Drew, starring Sarah Shahi, a woman of colour, as a thirty-something NYPD detective. The pilot is still shopping to other outlets, meaning the series could still see the light of day, but there's no guarantee.
