The Genius Code™ - Purpose, Mindset and Prosperity

When most people look at planning for the year ahead they typically do it in the traditional sense – by mapping it all out and setting SMART goals. But that’s not the way to do it! And also they plan around some areas, and not around some of the most important areas of their life. Well on this episode of The Executive Code podcast, I share with you a couple of secrets as well as some of the areas you can look at to think about in order to make next year a great year for you.

It’s around this time of year when people start to make plans – if it’s not plans for next year, it’s plans for Christmas. And with that, we begin to hear people talking about new resolutions that they’re going to set, budgets for the year ahead, goals to be achieved, and what they’re going to do to drive forward both personally and professionally. And typically you’ll hear things being said that they can’t wait for the past year to be got rid of and for the next year to begin. How crazy is that? – as if the change in a calendar date is going to make all the difference – and there’s still a couple of weeks to go to the end of the year! On this episode of The Executive Code podcast, I’m here to tell you to stop doing all of that just for one moment. I share with you why it’s important to look back, what to look back on, and areas that you might want to consider in order to get the best out of this year, and to make the next year even better.

If you were to write your own eulogy – what would it say? Or if you were to ask someone you think would be giving your eulogy – what do you think they would say about you? Now it might seem like a strange question - but perhaps it’s worth considering. On this episode of The Executive Code podcast, I share two reasons why you might consider this question.

Do you have a morning routine that you follow? There are a lot of people that do have routines such as meditating, visualising, gratefulness journaling, saying affirmations, flow journaling, reading, and going for a morning walk. For some, a routine like this works for them. For many, it doesn’t. And for some, they feel they should be doing it and they end up beating themselves up for not doing a routine. But if all the people in the world that are doing morning routines like this, surely there would be millions of people having amazing lives, living in mansions beside the beach and flying around in private jets from all the visualising that they’re doing? But there’s not! Why is that? On this episode of The Executive Code podcast, I share some of my thoughts when it comes to routines and how rituals like this can be as effective as writing out your weekly shopping list. Surely there has to be a better way? There is!

I’ve been asked over the past couple of weeks, by different people, questions about life purpose – What is purpose? What does a life purpose look like? How do you know if you’re on your life purpose?.. and so on. You’ve probably had the same questions yourself, so on this episode of The Executive Code podcast, I thoughts I’d share with you the questions and what my response has been.
