Today's guest is Urmi Basu, the founder of New Light, a nonprofit charitable trust that has set up a shelter to protect and educate young girls, children and women at high risk of commercial sexual exploitation. She received the Naree Shakti Puraskar, literally meaning "Woman Power Award", India's highest civilian award for recognizing the achievements and contributions of women. The awards is given away by the President of India every year on 8 March, International Women's Day at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.
