Homespun Haints: True Ghost Stories

The Ghosts Came Back for Jazz: A true ghost story interview

Listen Later

The streets of Chicago are full of jazz. And ghosts.

Wander these old avenues and you’ll find a medley of entertaining spirits, flowing with the soothing sounds of soft cymbals, or creating their own improvisations alongside the old brick buildings and gleaming skyscrapers. Kimberly Gordon, Chicago-based jazz vocalist and chef, has lived her whole life with both the music and the ghosts that line these well-worn streets. And boy does she have some stories.

To learn more about Kimberly, follow her on Instagram at @kimberlygordonvocals, @bellbookandcandle777, and @kimigphoto.
