In October of 1999, residents of Fort Worth, Texas began complaining of a horrific stench. A stench that was so bad, that just walking down a specific street would immediately induce a headache. Residents complained that they couldn’t even turn on their air conditioning because if they did, a rancid smell emitting from outside would permeate their entire home. Fort Worth Health Department officials, being absolutely inundated with complaints about this stench, set out to find the source, and they were soon able to identify where it was coming from - a supermarket that had been completely abandoned three months prior. On April 29, 2021, police entered 4 Alcedo Court in Crestone, Colorado in response to a complaint that members of a group called “Love Has Won” were residing at the home of Michael Lamboy without permission. In a back bedroom, they discover the mummified, blue corpse of a VERY emaciated female. The corpse was found wearing heavy glitter eyeshadow, and was wrapped in a sleeping bag covered with twinkling Christmas lights. The corpse was later identified as 45 year old cult leader, Amy Carlson aka “Mother God”.
