  • Drink & Farm #109 - Digging Our Heels Into This Farm Thing

This pandemic hasn't afforded either of us much in the way of spare time. But the time we have gained we're using wisely on the farm! In this episode, we catch you up on how all the projects are coming along. Sam hatched goslings, has a new surprise baby goat, so many cute tiny seedlings, and is building a fence. Bev hatched chicks, is raising meat chickens, and is impatiently waiting to finish her greenhouse. And they both built the CUTEST coops ever!

  • Drink & Farm #108 - How Do They Make Them Float?

Since Herc’s first donkiversary just passed, we thought it was a great time to discuss annual equine care like conducting a Coggin’s test and floating teeth. Learn why a Coggin’s test is performed on equines annually and what disease it detects, and why equines require their teeth being floated and how it’s done! Spoiler alert, teeth floating is not putting water in your equine’s mouth so their teeth float and arrange themselves for optimal placement.
