39-year-old Queen Zulu is the owner of a BP
service station in Cala in the Eastern Cape which started
operating on the first of October this year. The mother of
two boys started off as a cashier after being unable to
continue with her electrical engineering studies because
of a lack of funds. She joins us on the line.

Police Minister Bheki Cele released the
country’s crime statistics for July to September this year.
According to the statistics, 989 women were murdered
between July 1 and September 30. We now speak to

TECH TUESDAY:

The SABC has taken a firm stance toward digitalization
through its SABC Plus platform.
The digital service is offered online and offers all of SABC’s
current broadcast services.
The platform acts as a streaming app and digital portal
featuring all the SABC’s content channels including 19 radio
stations.
SABC Group Chief Executive Madoda Mxakwe says the app
signals a new digital era for the SABC.

Today was the last day of the National Men’s
Parliament. The two-day annual Men’s Parliament brings

together men from different sectors of society who are
committed in the fight against Gender-Based Violence and
Femicide and promoting men’s health. We now speak to

As the controversy surrounding pit bulls continues across the country a Cape Town community has taken matters into their own hands as they killed and set alight three pit bulls that attacked a young girl.
