Churches says the new COVID-19 rules announced by
President Cyril Ramaphosa are irrational and
discriminatory. The president said both indoor and
outdoor venues could now take up to 50% of their
capacity, provided that those at venues show proof of
vaccination or a COVID test not older than 72 hours. We

The Department of Basic Education is

planning several changes for schools in South Africa as it
plans to better prepare students for the working world.
The 2022/2023 annual performance plan published this
week. The department says it will be focusing on plans to
better prepare teachers for curriculum digitization;
teaching and learning methodology change, and the

Six people were gunned down at the
Enkanini informal settlement in Khayelitsha over the
weekend. This is the second mass shooting in the area
in the space of a week. Five people were killed last week
