After our second year running the national camp I talk through the whole event and how pleased we all were the way it went.

So im recording this from Jersey as this week we had the Jersey camp this weekend with a good friend of mine stuart owens. 

The goalkeepers train every day along with a load of activities to fill out the days like surfing, foot golf and paint ball.

Its great to see all the kids off their mobile phones and just being outside all day mixing with each other while training and challenging each other in different areas.

So I am on a mission to get everyones views on why we are all caught up in the new style of goalkeeper training. 

I keep seeing more and more of this and it just seems to be getting me more aggravated the more I see it. 

SHOT, SHOT, SHOT ,SHOT ,SHOT ,SHOT REST.

Why are so many goalkeepers teaching goalkeepers to catch the ball and throw it away so quickly to catch the next one (This never happens in matches)

I just don't get it but as I have said before Im not right its my views.

In this episode I talk through quite a few tings but mainly my first 2 weeks at Borehamwood fc and what my daily challenges are now.

What tasks do I set my self when going into a new football club as a coach.

Why you don t go in and try to CHANGE people/goalkeepers as you take them for what they are and make them more effective.

How my daughter is trying to go a cherry tree in essex. 

Im also joined by one of the DGUK IPD (Individual Development Program) goalkeepers who shares his thoughts on how his program is going and... well to be honest Zan don't want to say too much so that's about it.

- Anyone across the world can join us 

- Its a full time goalkeeper program that will give you the chance to be  coached by a former premier league goalkeeper coach. 

- Educate your game to develop all aspects of goalkeeping 

- Trials at pro and semi pro clubs 

- Also be coached by goalkeeper coaching still in the game from premier league to non league.

In this episode I talk about taking time to develop and having the desire to want to improve.

Also being honest with goalkeepers will also get results quicker as if you flirt around telling them something they will; find out later and it will then tale longer to develop or effect.

I believe in being your own person and have yo8ur own way of doing things will only help your goalkeepers and will also help you sleep easy at night. 

Being someone (goalkeeper/coach) you know your not will just delay getting the results you are looking for.
