Many Christians believe in evolution but say God was part of the process. But Scripture describes God as the all-powerful Creator who made everything just by speaking. But evolution makes God simply the god-of-the-gaps. He’s just tacked on to a naturalistic process.
And this view also denies God’s character. Scripture says that God is perfect, loving, and all-powerful. But evolution is a wasteful process fueled by death! Why would a loving Creator use death to create life? Why would a loving God call such “very good”?
God did not use evolution to create. To say he did is an attack on the character of our Creator.
