Season 1 of Fallout surprised everyone. It was sharp, confident, and felt like a rare video game adaptation that actually understood its source material.
Season 2? Not quite.
In this video, I break down why Fallout Season 2 is a clear step down from Season 1, and why it never reaches the same highs — even though it isn’t a total failure. From weaker storytelling and uneven pacing, to character choices that don’t fully land, Season 2 of Amazon’s Fallout feels more disappointing than disastrous.
I dive deep into:
Why Fallout Season 2 doesn’t live up to Season 1
The biggest writing and structural issues
How character arcs lost focus and momentum
What Season 1 did right that Season 2 struggles to replicate
Why the show still isn’t “bad,” just far less impactful
Fallout remains one of the better video game adaptations out there, but Season 2 highlights how difficult it is to maintain quality once the novelty wears off. This video is a full Fallout Season 2 review and retrospective, looking at what worked, what didn’t, and why expectations mattered so much this time around.
If you’re a fan of Fallout, video game adaptations, or long-form TV retrospectives, this breakdown is for you.

Kathleen Kennedy’s tenure as president of Lucasfilm has become one of the most controversial eras in Star Wars history. In this retrospective video essay, I take a deep dive into Kathleen Kennedy’s time leading Lucasfilm and explain why her presidency ultimately did more harm than good to the Star Wars brand.
We start by breaking down the Star Wars sequel trilogy — The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker. I discuss what these movies did well, where they failed, and how a lack of long-term planning, inconsistent creative vision, and reactionary decision-making led to a fractured trilogy that divided fans and weakened the franchise’s cultural impact.
Next, I shift focus to the Disney+ Star Wars shows, including The Mandalorian, Andor, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka, and more. While some of these series are genuinely great, I argue that the overall streaming strategy oversaturated the market, damaged brand prestige, and turned Star Wars into disposable content rather than must-see events.
Finally, I examine the long list of cancelled, abandoned, and quietly scrapped Star Wars projects announced under Kathleen Kennedy’s leadership. From films that never entered production to trilogies and standalone movies that vanished without explanation, this era of Lucasfilm became defined by broken promises, creative turmoil, and constant course correction.
This video is not a rage piece — it’s a full retrospective analysis of Kathleen Kennedy’s leadership at Lucasfilm, exploring both successes and failures, and asking the bigger question:
How did Star Wars lose its sense of direction under Disney and Kathleen Kennedy?
If you’re interested in Star Wars analysis, Lucasfilm behind-the-scenes history, or thoughtful breakdowns of modern franchises, this video is for you.

Wonder Woman 1984 was meant to be a triumphant follow-up to one of DC’s best modern superhero films. Instead, five years later, it stands as one of the most baffling and disrespectful failures in the genre.
In this video essay, I revisit Wonder Woman 1984 and break down exactly why the film doesn’t just fail as a sequel, but actively undermines the Wonder Woman character. By directly comparing it to Wonder Woman (2017), I explore how Patty Jenkins’ sequel abandons the themes, character integrity, and emotional grounding that made the first film so effective.
From its confused storytelling and tonal whiplash to its mishandling of Diana Prince’s morality, relationships, and heroic ideals, Wonder Woman 1984 repeatedly contradicts what the character is supposed to represent. I analyze the film’s plot choices, character arcs, villains, and infamous story decisions, explaining how they strip Diana of agency and erode the emotional growth she earned in the original movie.
I also dive into the broader context surrounding the film, including its troubled release during the pandemic, its place within the collapsing DCEU, and how its reception permanently damaged Wonder Woman’s standing as a cinematic icon. When compared to the focused, character-driven success of Wonder Woman (2017), the failures of Wonder Woman 1984 become even more glaring.
Five years later, this retrospective examines how one of DC’s most important heroes was let down by her own sequel, and why Wonder Woman 1984 remains a cautionary tale for superhero storytelling.
If you enjoy deep-dive film analysis, superhero retrospectives, and honest critiques of the DCEU, this breakdown of Wonder Woman 1984 is for you.

The Sonyverse was supposed to be Sony’s big cinematic universe built around Spider-Man’s iconic villains—Venom, Morbius, Madame Web, and Kraven the Hunter—but instead, it became one of the most unintentionally hilarious misfires in superhero movie history. One year after Madame Web (and the chaos that followed), I’m diving back into all six Sony Marvel films to see just how bad this universe really is… and why its failures are so entertaining.
In this video, I break down:
🔥 The rise and fall of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe
🕷️ What went wrong with Venom, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and Venom 3 / The Last Dance
🩸 Why Morbius became one of the biggest memes in movie history
🔮 The surreal absurdity of Madame Web
🐯 How Kraven the Hunter failed before it even began
🎬 The problems with Sony’s world-building, tone, writing, and character direction
🤣 Why the Sonyverse has become more comedy than superhero cinema
Whether you love these movies, hate them, or just enjoy watching a cinematic trainwreck, this retrospective explores why the Sonyverse collapsed—and how it accidentally created some of the funniest moments in modern blockbuster filmmaking.
If you enjoy deep-dive retrospectives on movies, superhero universes, and Hollywood’s biggest missteps, consider subscribing!

Ten years after The Hunger Games franchise concluded, the series remains one of the most powerful, emotionally resonant, and culturally significant YA adaptations ever made. In this retrospective, I revisit all four films — The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay Part 1, and Mockingjay Part 2 — to explore why these movies continue to captivate audiences a decade later.
In this video, I break down what makes this franchise so brilliant. From its rich world-building, political themes, and unforgettable characters, to the way Suzanne Collins’ lore was brought to life through exceptional production design, acting, and storytelling, The Hunger Games stands out as a masterclass in adaptation. I analyze how the series builds its themes of survival, rebellion, trauma, and exploitation — and why that messaging remains more relevant than ever.
Then I dive deep into each of the four films individually, exploring their strengths and weaknesses, their character arcs, and how they contribute to the overall narrative. From Katniss Everdeen’s transformation, to the Capitol’s haunting propaganda machine, to the emotional punch of the final film, this video examines the full legacy of the franchise.
Whether you’re a longtime fan or returning to Panem for the first time in years, this retrospective looks at The Hunger Games in a way that honors what made the series truly special.

Stranger Things began as one of the greatest TV debuts of the decade — a pitch-perfect blend of character drama, sci-fi mystery, and ’80s nostalgia that made Season 1 an instant classic. But as the Netflix series continued, each new season stepped further away from what made the show so special. In this video, I break down every season of Stranger Things and explore how a once near-perfect show slowly declined.
Through an in-depth retrospective, I analyze the characters, plotlines, worldbuilding, writing choices, mysteries, threats, villains, emotional arcs, and the overall evolution of the Upside Down. I revisit how the series handled Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, Hopper, Joyce, Max, and the expanding ensemble — and how shifting priorities eventually hurt the storytelling.
I also dive into the behind-the-scenes decisions that shaped each season, why Season 1 remains unmatched, and how the Duffers’ approach changed over time. From pacing issues to tonal shifts to overly large cast size, I break down how Stranger Things gradually moved away from its original strengths.
This is The Rise & Fall of Stranger Things — a complete series retrospective for fans who want to understand what happened to one of Netflix’s biggest shows of all time.
