The Goler Family lived a life of isolation in a mountainous area near Wolfville Nova Scotia, almost completely secluded from the rest of society. A heads up, this story involves incest and sexual abuse, something not easy to talk about and not easy to listen to, but I think it’s important we talk about because it’s something that’s real, that happens, that isn’t just played out on the big screen. It’s truly horrific what the Goler Clan forced their own family to do and the long-lasting effects of this generational abuse are still felt today. This is really a combination of the movie Deliverance and The Hills Have Eyes. So you’ve been warned.
